TOUCH THE HEM OF HIS GARMENT

Sunday Sermon

TOUCH THE HEM OF HIS GARMENT

Luke 8: 43-48

Introduction: Have you gone to the doctor lately? Many people are afraid and have mixed emotions of going to the doctor’s office and the news they receive when they are ill or sick. They have to co-pay for a doctor’s visit, hospital care, and prescriptions. Today, I would like to recommend my Doctor who not only is experienced for many, many years, but works around the clock and answers our call. The best Doctor from the best network (Heaven) is available and the only co-pay is Faith. This Doctor is the Primary care and the Specialist all in one. No need to go to any other because His specialty is healing. His name is Jesus.

In this text the woman had been to many doctors and all failed except one. All she needed was her co-pay (usual touch of faith). The woman had an expectant, believing attitude. She believed that if she could only touch the Hem of His Garment, she would be made whole. TOUCH THE HEM OF HIS GARMENT!
